Financial Aid Options for Tuition Assistance

Advanced Career Institute offers financial aid to those who qualify. Our Financial Aid staff will work with you to determine your eligibility and complete the application process.

A Federal Pell Grant does not have to be repaid. The amount you receive depends on your financial need, costs to attend school, status as a full-time or part-time student, and plans to attend school for a full academic year or less. Financial need is determined by the U.S. Department of Education and amounts can change yearly.

Scholarships do not have to be repaid. Programs include "Women in Trucking," “Drive the Guard," or other associations. Scholarship amounts are determined by financial need.

Your campus Financial Aid Office can provide additional information on available Scholarships.
Private loans provide additional assistance for covering tuition costs. Private lenders are available to offer these types of services.

Institutional Payment Plans can be a good alternative to private loans. Payment plans split your tuition costs into equal monthly payments. Most tuition payment plans allow you to set up an automatic direct debit from your bank account to pay the monthly bills.

Company-Sponsored Funding Programs are available to students that qualify. Your campus Financial Aid Office can provide additional information on the companies and employers that offers these programs to students.
The Workforce Investment Act (WIA) grant provides eligible students with tuition assistance for their career training needs. This grant is designated for workers who have become displaced or unemployed by no fault of their own.

Your campus Financial Aid Office can provide additional information on Workforce Investment Act Funds (WIA).
Workers Compensation/Rehabilitation Funds can help cover expenses, or provide tuition reimbursement or job training.

As an Active Duty or Military Veteran, you may be eligible for educational benefits through numerous GI Bill® programs. Funding programs are offered through the Veterans Administration
